'Beltoy Stud's Barns Isabel [Kizzy] competently ridden by her jockey Sarah Curry concluded their 2006 season triumphantly at the NPS Native Pony Show on Saturday 9 September.

Kizzy and Sarah started their day with the top placing in the M&M First Ridden and followed this up with a Red in the Open M&M Ridden Small Breeds. Success continued for the partnership when they secured the NPS Supreme Ridden Mountain & Moorland Championship & the NPS Ridden Mountain & Moorland Pony of the Year. A super accolade for the young partnership, attaining their success amongst very stiff competition from the Connemara, Highland and Welsh Breeds.

Celebrations continued throughout the day, but the icing on the cake was when Sarah & Kizzy completed their day by adding the Overall 2nd Reserve Supreme Championship to their string of titles; with the Overall Supreme & Reserve going to the In Hand & Ridden Part Bred Champions. A fitting tribute to Sarah & Kizzy in securing the 2nd Reserve Supreme for the smallest of the Native Breeds.

Big Congratulations to Sarah, Kizzy's Producer Debbie Irwin and the Woodhill Show Team'.

Ponies UK Summer Championships 2006 brings huge success to Beltoy Stud.  With their own prolific inhand mare Roseaisle of Transy keeping up her past PUK successes with 2nd in the Shetland 4+ and Res Shetland Champion to Beltoy's home bred stallion Beltoy Risng Pride owned by the Toreagh Stud. Roseaisle continued the week with a 1st place in the M&M Small Breeds 4+ and a 1st Res Championship in strong classes.

Barns Isabel "Kizzy" and her jockey Sarah Curry continued to win over the crowds by securing a win in the Shetland Ridden class against more seasoned HOYS and Olympia ponies and much older riders.  The partnership then went forward to the M&M Ridden Supreme where they were pulled out as one of the top five ponies to give an individual performance.  Kizzy and Sarah completed their week with their first attempt at a HOYS open ridden class where they achieved a creditable 4th place against some of the top ponies in the country.

Beltoy would like to take this opportunity of thanking Debbie Irwin and the Woodhill Show Team, and Kizzy's young jockey Sarah Curry.
